Since we were young, the world has changed..

Just listening to people talk these days would make our grandparent bring out the soap. So I thought we should put some perspective on the New World. How as the world changed since you were young, not economically of course, but socially and morally. I would love to hear the different points of view.

Since we were young, the world has changed..As I travel, which is about 250 days a year, I can not help but notice the changes in our society. People, not all but a lot more than when I was young, have become so wrapped up in themselves they have left their manners at home. I was watching people at the mall yesterday and actually saw a gentleman , probably in his early sixties, almost knock a mom and her stroller over. I waited to see what he would do and to my amazement, NOTHING. I know I should have just let it go but I could not. I walked over to him , he was now a good thirty feet passed the lady who was still trying to right her stroller and calm the child who was in hysterics. I said "Excuse me sir, I am sure you did not mean to or maybe you did not even see her but you just knocked into that lady and nearly took out her stroller" ( I was trying to be diplomatic even though I was angry ) "I know now that you have been made aware you WILL go back and make amends" He looked at me as if I had three heads , but I am sure |
